Most of the people may knew / heard about Qatar.
It’s a small country located in Arabian Peninsula, bordering
to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia., and richest country in the world who produce
natural Gas & Oil.,
Very recently Qatar won hosting Bid for 2022 FIFA football
(Soccer) and country is planning / expecting to present it in a big manner, at
the movement they have built a New Airport (Hamad Int’l Airport) Express ways,
tunnel facilities / bridges and by 2019 they are going to start their 1st
Train facility towards Qatar main cities., works are under process in a speedy
manner.
However, I just wanted to share some details about the
richest country and its treatment to the migrant workers. Population approx. 2
million and only 10% are citizens of Qatar and others are expatriates. There are plenty of Human rights cases which
cannot be solved until Qatar’s “Sharia” lows revision and government still
failed to revised lows & regulations.
Most common labour rights violations are not paying on time
/ holding salary / threats / sexual assault / restrictions on freedom of
movement / cannot obtain exit permit without sponsor or owner and confiscation
of passport. Under the Sharia (Sponsorship Low) sponsors have the ultimate
power to cancel workers / their residence permit / deny to leave country and
ability to put police cases against the worker.
Anyone can understand, such a power will make people force
to work without getting any benefit,
These are the present issue in Qatar and without changing
rules,
Rich become Richer, Poor
become poorer.
Subject quote not only to Qatar, it belongs to entire world.
